What are cable labels?

Cable labels ensure fast, error-free identification of network cables, power cables, fiber optics, etc. You avoid misunderstandings at patch panels, in telecom cabinets/racks, or in industrial cabinets. For structured plastics, you need a label + adhesive that adheres well to that relief. I-label also has specific solutions for this.

Self-laminating wrap-around labels

Flexible labels that wrap around the cable and laminate themselves: the printed area is protected by a transparent cover. Ideal for use in racks and in high-touch environments.

TIP: Choose sufficient overlap and the correct height for a good grip.

Heat-shrink (krimpkous) labels

Heat-shrink sleeves

These sleeves (labels) shrink tightly around the cable. Robust, durable, and available with additional properties, such as diesel resistance, self-extinguishing, or halogen-free—as ladder or continuous material.

TIP: Before connecting: select the ratio based on the minimum/maximum diameter.

Flag (vlag) labels

Flag labels

Flag labels form a flag around the cable so that you have a large, flat reading area. Useful for small diameters or where a wrap-around becomes too narrow.

TIP: With fiber optics, a modified narrow attachment is often used so that you do not have to bend the fiber.
