Printer categories at I-Label

Thermal label printers designed to print top-quality labels.

Brady label printers

Robust thermal printers for daily industrial use. Consider the i3300 / i3500 / i7100 for razor-sharp barcodes, small fonts, and precise media transport (from cable labels and component labels to warehouse labels). Brady is known for self-calibration, quick changes, and consistent print quality, ideal for when downtime is not an option.

I-Label printers

Specialists for specific tasks where speed and reproducibility count: the Vial Label Printer (VLP) for tubes in the laboratory.
Result: less manual work, consistent quality, and higher output. Perfectly integrated with label design software and tailored to your labels per roll and coding.

Epson color printers

Print full-color on demand with Epson ColorWorks (such as the C4000). Ideal for color coding (laboratories, warehouses, etc.) and branding on product or shipping labels. You print exactly what you need—without waiting for printed materials. Colorfast, sharp, and easy to combine with templates and data links (Excel/ERP). Available for matte and glossy inks on inkjet-compatible labels on rolls.

Semi-automatic printers

Printing and partially automatic application in a single flow. Think of applicators for wrap/flag cable labels, small cylinders (tubes, vials), or flat products. You save time, prevent variation due to manual work, and increase the readability of barcodes. Ideal for medium volumes or repetitive tasks. Integrate with label design software so that operators only have to scan and start.

Fully automatic printers

For maximum throughput and 24/7 consistency. Fully automatic with sensors, material recognition, and verification. Perfect for lines where downtime is costly. Combine with Label Cloud or your MES/ERP for data-driven labeling and audit trail. We seamlessly coordinate labels on rolls, templates, and machine settings.

Which printing technique do you need?

Thermal transfer labelprinters

Thermal transfer

Your label printer uses an ink ribbon to melt ink into the label. This produces very sharp barcodes/text and a wear-resistant print. Choose this option if you want the label information to remain legible for a long time or when printing on plastic labels.

Typical applications include warehouse labels, cable marking, laboratory labels, and serial number labels.

Direct thermische labelprinters

Direct thermal

These label printers do not use a print ribbon, but instead the print head heats thermal material that darkens in color. This is super fast and simple for labels on rolls that have a short lifespan. Here you are choosing simplicity, speed, and low cost per label.

Typical applications include cash register labels, temporary location labels, or internal logistics labels.

Inktjet labelprinters in kleur

Inktjet color

An inkjet color printer prints full color on roll labels. Ideal for branding or color coding. You want to print on demand in professional colors. You can also combine this perfectly with partially pre-printed labels.

Typische toepassingen zijn verpakkingslabels, product- / promolabels, kleurcodes (laboratorium, logistiek) of samples.
