Ultra-thin and self-laminating labels
Brady B461 and I-Label M5937
Brady’s B461 material is a self-laminating polyester for small diameters. You print on a white area and wrap a transparent overlaminate strip around it to seal the print against moisture, friction, and solvents.
Our house reference M5937 is the I-Label equivalent of this material (same composition and performance). These labels have been developed for laboratory environments and perform well in liquid nitrogen and autoclaves.
Wrap-around with protective laminate
The label is wrapped around the tube; the tail laminates the printed area and makes the barcode resistant to condensation, water baths, and chemicals. These labels are designed for cryogenic storage, but can also withstand autoclave cycles.
Ultra-thin carrier, fits in racks
The ultra-thin construction with long overlap tail is designed to stay close to the surface, preventing racks from jamming and labels from curling. The thin polyester base with clear overlaminate keeps your tubes stackable and scannable.
Fine detail, durable print
Print with thermal transfer for sharp barcodes and long-lasting contrast retention. For B461 Brady labels, black resin ribbons from the R4300 family are a common choice for chemical resistance and smudge resistance.
