Brady B483 with B7552 overlaminate
Print & Protect labels combine a printable polyester base with a transparent protective laminate.
First, you print on the white polyester area, after which a clear overlaminate strip is applied over the print. This permanently seals the information against wear, chemicals, cleaning, and intensive use.
I-Label supplies this material in standard sizes on rolls, or custom-made.
Step 1: Prepare the laminate
Your label consists of a white print zone with a transparent laminate tail. After printing, you use this tail to completely cover and seal the print later.
Step 2: Overlamination
Fold the transparent overlaminate over the printed area and rub it down so that the laminate layer adheres evenly. This protects the print from friction, moisture, and chemicals and prevents wear and tear on text and barcodes.
Step 3: Result
After lamination, the information is encapsulated beneath a clear protective layer. As a result, the label remains readable and scannable for a long time.
