Print & pick – stroke applicator

The fully automatic Brady A8500 label printer first prints a polyimide micro label and peels it off the liner. The stroke applicator picks up the label and keeps it perfectly flat.

Constant suction pressure and stroke depth for flat, wrinkle-free labels.
ESD-safe construction.
Preparation for positioning: label is centered precisely.

Positioning & alignment

Label rolls are unwound and rewound; sensors monitor the label step. The XY module moves the applicator.

Accurate XY coordinates based on origin marks.
Repeat accuracy up to 0.1 mm
Everything happens within a single cell: print – pick – position.

Place & verify

The PCB stops on the conveyor; clamps secure the board. The applicator places the label and a camera can verify its presence, position, and legibility.
